Growing up in the area and being a ninth-generation Bulloch Countian I have visited this small neighboring town a great deal. It's charming. Good people. Lot's of history. Located on OpenCreek and Fifteenmile Creek and near the Ogeechee River it is in near Portal, Sylvania, Statesboro and Millen with Savannah, Ga. only being an hour away so it's an easy drive to the beach and Lowcountry. Property values are low. It's a hidden gem! Just be nice to the locals. -Darrell Juvay
