Jonesboro - 12/1/2012
I moved to Jonesboro from Plantation, Florida. Jonesboro is like any other town within a big city. The area that I came from in Florida is ft. lauderdale. There were areas on Ft Lauderdale that were high in crime, etc, and areas that were not, but its all called Ft. Lauderdale. It's about the zip code not necessarily the city. Jonesboro has changed a lot in the past 8 years. It's the type of place you might raise kids if you just left a city like Oakland or Detroit. The food scene is non-existant, mainly chains and unreliable mom n pop spots. Night life is bars. Schools are horrible. They don't have recess in some of the elementary schools. If you are planning on not doing much except hanging around your house, your friends house or the grocery store, this is the perfect place for you. Oh and if you're single, good luck on finding someone in Jonesboro. They all Read More
