The city also boasts a thriving arts and culture scene and is home to several universities, making it a diverse and dynamic community. Let's take a look at what some of them have to say about living in this particular place.

1. "I've lived in Milledgeville for over 10 years and I absolutely love it here. The small-town atmosphere and friendly community make it feel like home. The cost of living is very reasonable and there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. I highly recommend this city to anyone looking for a quiet and charming place to call home." - Sarah, resident of Milledgeville.

2. "I moved to Milledgeville for college and ended up staying even after graduation. The city has so much to offer, from its rich history to its vibrant arts scene. The people here are welcoming and the cost of living is much lower compared to bigger cities. It's a great place to start a family or just enjoy a laid-back lifestyle." - John, former resident of Milledgeville.

3. "Milledgeville may be a small town, but it has a big heart. I've lived here my entire life and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The community is very close-knit and there are always events and festivals happening. The only downside is that there isn't much of a job market here, so many people commute to neighboring towns for work." - Emily, lifelong Milledgeville resident.

4. "I moved to Milledgeville from a big city and I have no regrets. The slow pace of life and the natural beauty of this place have been a refreshing change. The cost of living is much more affordable and I've met some of the nicest people here. It's a great place to retire or just escape the hustle and bustle of city life." - Joe, recent transplant to Milledgeville.

Eh, nice. But, could be better. - 8/8/2020
I have lived in Milledgeville, GA since Sept 2019. And, despite paying more in rent, the cost of living is cheaper here than it was in Litchfield Park, AZ.

However, one must look closely at where to live. Prices range from very reasonable to, at least for the area, way too much. Also, between bait and switch tactics (which happened to me; rented site unseen; online, it looked great; but got a place that was way less than advertised (if this was an Upgraded unit, I'll eat my hat. But, only the good Lord knows what regular unit looks like).

And, thanks to COVID, I got stuck in my complex longer than expected. And, while I knew that the rent would go up at the one year mark, I was not expecting it to go up 10%. Nor, did the Property Management Co. send my a renewal notice on my lease.

Luckily, most of the restaurants are reasonably priced. And, even using a food delivery service does not make that much of a difference in the bill.
