Review Rose - 9/25/2019
I just moved here from out of state was excited because the area is beautiful, beautiful homes, parks, and schools have great ratings. Everyone seems nice when we are out and about. As soon as my kids started school I felt the racism that i had heard so much about. Seems to me like they don’t like new people and especially if you are people of color. I regret moving Read More

Not my style - 11/8/2017
While the public schools are good, they are constantly being under-funded and classroom sizes are increasing. You can get a decent home for the money here, but the area I am in (Roswell/East Cobb) is full of people who have lived here forever. As a rule, they are not very friendly or interested in meeting new people. Fortunately with the Internet, I was able to meet local people in the area that have things in common with me (politically blue, non-christian).

There is a small amount of diversity here and the public transport consists of buses that run on larger streets, but not anywhere else. There is a lot of green space and, if you like hiking, tennis, etc you will enjoy the outdoor activities here. Summer is hot and stifling and there is no large body of water within a decent drive (closest is about 5 hours w/o traffic). Traffic of course, is awful considering the under-funded and under-utilized transit system. Additionally, the casual racism here is disheartening. Read More

Great community feel - 8/21/2017
We recently relocated (cross country) to Roswell, GA, and our family could not have found a better place. This is a family friendly town, with an abundance of activities for all ages, and great public and private schools to chose from. Our kids attend RNE and very much like it. Beautiful historic downtown, and great dining and shopping experience. Houses come in all sizes and prices to meet any budget/wish list, parks and trails galore, walk or bike to and fro downtown. Read More

Roswell GA - 10/15/2015
Good place to live, people are friendly, city near if needed, close to work, good medical services close to interstate highways when needed , mountains and rural areas close to get away. traffic is a pain at times because of close proximity to Atlanta. Weather is good all year with few exceptions. Read More

True Suburbia for the Family - 10/25/2007
North of Atlanta, Roswell is a true Suburb at it's best. The city is very family oriented with a good parks and recreation system and it's own cultural events to complement the larger Atlanta venues. The majority of the homes are situated in "Swim/Tennis" communities - each subdivision has it's own tennis court (or multiple) and swimming pools. Some of the large subdivisions have their own tennis leagues or swim teams. The area high schools are some of the best in the state (along with those in East Cobb county). There are also several private schools. The car is essential as there are several "sidewalks to nowhere". In addition, the city touts itself as being "bike friendly", although the only bike lanes are on extremely busy roads with speed limits of 45 plus. Being the parent of two preschoolers, there are several wonderful preschools associated with the local churches that the residents take advantage of, but no co-ops. Even with all the swim/tennis communities, the City of Read More
