Warner Robins is everything you want in a small town. Great schools, great neighbors, virtually no crime, unbelievable growth. Great military town, but due to that we might be leaving. I love it

My husband was stationed here with the military. We have both lived in numerous cities, states, and countries. But this was by FAR the worst place we have ever lived. The people here are uneducated and not friendly at all. And unlike the previous poster says, things are NOT centrally located. Everything is clustered in one spot. So unless you want to live within that mile it is an adventure just to go grocery shopping. People walk down the middle of the busiest street in town and the cops dont care at all. Macon is the closet city and it is about 30-40 minutes away. It is also pretty awful. Education opportunities in this area SUCK. And so does the job market. Unless you want to work at Burger King, there are no jobs. And if you do find one, expect minimum wage.
The weather is ok. If you like muggy, uncomfortable southern summers, springs, and falls. Winter is a bit cold, but only lasts a month.
I would avoid Warner Robins, or all of middle Georgia, at all

I miss it. Everything is located in such a way that I don't have to travel far to hit all the important stores. The hospital is centrally located and offers pretty good care. I know because I was a nurse there for 12 years.
The crime rate is low compared to a lot of the places I've been researching.
But I wouldn't go back because it is so hot there for so long every year. But a lot of people like that. It is only about a 2 hour drive from Atlanta and 3 from Savannah. The Macon air port is also pretty
