Really, NOT Paradise - 5/16/2021
Maui county is really 3 islands with large channels of water between them. Maui is the most civilized of the 3 islands. There is only the bare necessities available on the other 2 islands: Molokai and Lanai. To go any place nice, one will have to own a boat or fly one of the small public charter planes to fly to Maui, or one of the other islands. Health care for the WHOLE STATE is atrocious. The WHOLE STATE of Hawaii is run by liberal democrats and it shows with lots of xeniaphobia, homelessness, poverty and crime. The state is/will be one of the last states to open up from the fake COVID-19 not a pandemic. The state suffers from reverse-racism. So many, but not all, HATE mainland Haoles. (We know a handful of people that are nice.) The haters like to say, "Don't move to MY island." We have been called F'n Haoles, an infection, an invasive species and told, "move back to the mainland." We only wish we could.
