Living in Genoa my whole life, I can truely appreciate the area. Although voted "first to move out of Genoa" in highschool, I quickly changed my mind when I had a family. Genoa was boring to me as a teen, but this feeling is what typical teens would feel. It's not until you become a parent that you realize it is just a safe and quiet town. There is plenty to do as a family with home town festivals, bike routes, parks and local forest preserves.
