We love Fairmount & all it has to offer :) - 2/17/2024
My husband and I grew up in the Chicagoland area. We wanted to raise our children in a better place so work moved us to Florida, we stayed for almost 10 years although we had wonderful weather in the winter, we were too far away from family & friends. We wanted to come back closer but not to Illinois, so we chose Muncie. We then started learning about the different towns and fell in love with Fairmount and decided this is where we want our forever home to be! We bought our home here in 2022 and couldn't be happier. The town is cozy, I feel safe, the schools are amazing, the people who live here are so kind, everyone looks out for each other. We also have the annual James Dean days/run (Huge car show and carnival). During the warmer months (spring until James dean in sept) the town has music in the park, its so much fun ! You can cruise your golf cart up there as long as its street legal and insured, you can drive it everywhere. I am so happy we found this town and now we have had 5 Read More
