Welcome to Crack-a-mo....er...Kokomo - 4/18/2006
Kokomo is a predominately a blue collar town. It seems to have a high drop out rate in High School. The only things for kids to do here is do the naughty stuff, unless they are lucky enough to live clear on the south end of town where the mayor's pet park is, that has a small skating/bike rink and a playground...very spread out though. Lots of crime and meth labs on the north end. Lots of land contamination from the defunct steel mill and the current large manufacturing companies. Almost as many churches as bars and topless places. Seems like there is a lot more disabled people here than other places per capita, but the city itself is very inaccessable and slow to change. There is no mass transit...only Read More
