Jim doesnot understand cost of living - 11/7/2016
The true cost of living in New Haven is exactly what it is in Fort Wayne, We share some the same businesses and people of New Haven shop at most of the same stores, other than the local shops. The city limits border one another and New Haven is a City of about 12,000 where Fort Wayne has about 300,000 residents. Cost of living in a small city may be a bit higher in some aspects but the good far out weigh the bad.
Though it is a bit higher than Fort Wayne for water and sewer, it is more in the range of 15% higher. New Haven has a top rated police fire and ambulance service, city utilities actually cares about its customers; where Fort Wayne acts like they have better things to do when you call. Snow removal is the fastest that you could ask for. Where Fort Wayne may take a week, New Haven has it done the same day. Leaf Pickup is much cleaner than Fort Wayne and they actually do it several times rather than twice, like Fort Wayne plus if you call, they will come back. The City Read More

New Haven, Indiana costs about twice as much as it does to live in the neighboring city, Fot Wayne. The water is twice as much. Electric and gas are the same. New Haven has been able to figure out how to help it's residents save money buy cutting contracts with garbage companies.
