Great place to have a family - 3/7/2007
I lived in Upland from '95 to 2004. Upland is nice and small and in my opinion a great place to raise a family. You have to travel about a half hour to get to a mall but I guess thats whats nice about it.
Upland has a University in its town (Taylor University)and the students get involved in area churches and the schools. Upland also has Ivanhoe's which is known for its food and ice cream creations.
Of course you shouldn't raise your children blindly no matter where you live due to the sex offenders and teenagers having sex younger and younger..... but Upland does allow children to be children without having to face these issues
