Old fashioned small town feel. - 7/27/2006
Creston is your old fashioned small town, the old men don't miss a day catching up on the going's on when they're out for coffee at 5:00 am at the sale barn daily.
The town puts on a big show for the 4th of July, starting with a parade full of tractors, boy scouts, horses, and local politicians. Then there's the local talant show with all the kids doing their best. moving on to a pretty decent display of fireworks over the lake presented by the local fire department.
The Christmas season is full of plays and concerts from the local churches," there are a lot of them." It's always great when your child can be part of it. There's parades and parties, and the old railroad depot has caroling and old fashioned train displays(working.)
You don't take a trek through the grocery store without meeting a friend or Read More
