We recently relocated here in October for my husbands work. This is a beautiful city located on the mississippi river. It boasts of state of the art playground equipment at the parks and lots around you for outdoors. You won't find a lot of retail stores such as stores you would find in a shopping mall here but, Davenport is just 25 minutes or so away and has everything. At first I thought ugh how will I live here without retail stores close well I now would say that I am glad were not near them and I feel like the pace of life is slower here but, not too slow. This is the worst place that I have ever lived. There is nothing to do here except drugs. The schools are also terrible. I ended up sending my son to a private boarding school to avoid as many problems as I could. Read More

We live just outside of Muscatine,On a bluff looking over the Mississippi river. We have a great view of the river( never floods) and a house in our subdivision just sold for 150,000.
