Monroe Funded The Merger Of PC and Monroe - 1/19/2010
All the money Monroe received to rebuild their high school back in the mid to late 80's was used to monopolize the merger of the two high schools I should know My class was the last graduating senior class of Prairie City High School in 1986.
Monroe practically took over our high school, eliminating classes PC had for years and the monroe teachers flunking the students from PC, the school board from monroe took over at PC and was going to force My class to graduate with the monroe seniors until we protested against it and won. This kind of takeover should never had taken place and the two school districts need to be seperated and function on their own as before.
PC students have ot spend more time on the busses to be bussed over to Monroe for the high school kids which is totally wrong as well.
As far as I am concerned Prairie City has a proud history and by doing what Monroe did to tarnish that history is deplorable and unforgiveable and if I have My way about Read More
