Not So Safe in a Small Community - 3/8/2012
Unfortunately, Hartford, Kansas, is not a particularly safe place to live: Unleashed dogs wander the town; many neighbors are not trusted due to histories of theft, drug use, criminal activity. There are some good people mixed in with these "bad seeds"; however, the scales have tipped in the wrong direction. It certainly does not help that many Hartford residents are obese, disabled, unemployed and not hygienic personally and in their homes. It is a depressed community.
