The local independent/city school Corbin Independent School Systems, is a very good system, particularly for the area. Corbin is a nice enough town to raise your kids or grandkids in, since its quiet and relatively safe of bad crimes compared to much of the rest of the USA, but if you are looking for a good job forget it. Corbin is way behind in many ways and feels stuck in history. It continues to be a "dry" area inhibiting growth from other business because they are unable to sell alcohol i.e. restuarants, hotels etc. It's a beautiful area with so much to offer in air quality, recreation, land and housing costs, but as long it it stays stuck, I see no future Read More
