true small town - 12/10/2009
I grew up in inez kentucky, and there is not a single day that i dont wish i could go home. I have to live a thousand miles away for my job and that sucks! I long for the smell of the pumpkin rolls at the harvet fest, and unless you have had a pizza from the pizza stop, i just cant begin to describe it!!!!!!! I can close my eyes now and see the old gents in "town" attire walking down main street to converge for thier daily "coon huntin" story. Martin county kentucky will always be at the top of my best places to live

Jobs in inez! - 6/1/2009
I recently moved back to inez after years of being a traveling Respiratory Therapist. Ive been home around a year and can not seem to find a job in one of the surrounding area hospitals. So i decided to look for work in good old Martin County. I applied everywhere, from coal mining jobs to fast lanes and dollar general. Its seems im overqualified from the smaller jobs and its impossible to get my foot in the door in one of the coal mines here at home. I want to stay home for good this time but its looking bleak and I may just have to move again. I want to be near my children but it would be easier to find Jimmy Hoffa than a job in
