Town Budget/Incom - 10/7/2015
I recently passed through Fenton LA on my way to the casino in Kinder. I received a speeding ticket. Since then I have found numerous sites that list Fenton as a speedtrap town. I have reviewed the town's budget and the numbers do not lie. I was called by the mayor of the town and he represented his town and professionalism by hanging up on me after announcing he was the person able to keep the ticket off my record and insurance information and he was not going to do that for me. He firmly believes that where the town gets is income from is not important. This is short sited Lake Charles is very close, no one has to pass through Fenton, and it could be an excellent place to live, it is a small town with a low household income and education levels as per the statistics on
