The good: its a small town, people are friendly, it it for the most part quiet, fairly easy access to the one Interstate, has a library that is growing, good fishing. Considering - 8/4/2006
I am considering a move to another location in the US. Lacombe is a nice small town and it still is quiet at times but getting noisy. I had planned to live here the rest of my life, but violent crime is spilling over from New Orleans, too many people are moving here from the aftermath of Katrina, there is the same old Louisiana corrupt politics, and the job market is putrid.
