Vacation for you - Taxation for Mainers - 10/23/2008
I've lived in Maine 28 years. Maine is a beautiful state and Lewiston/Auburn (twin cites) are a nice area. Everything here. 4 seasons, clean air, best water in the world. Clean air, the powerful Androscoggin River flowing between the two "towns," and plenty of parks, lakes, mountains and nearby recreational areas makes Auburn a fine place to raise a family and enjoy the outdoors. Crime, especially drug related, is a problem here, and the population tends to be older, since many young people leave Maine Read More
