Buyer Beware - 8/16/2015
I have been a resident of Takoma Park since 1987. During that time, I have watched it change from a haven for artists and musicians to a yuppified, pretentious, superficial environment, where now, even your next door neighbors may snub you if they think they paid more for their house than you did. We have the only corn silo in a metropolitan area (for alternative energy), the oldest farmers market in the state and much more. In fact, we have a statute in town celebrating a free-range rooster "Roscoe" who passed a few years back. Right on the Metro line, you can be on Capitol Hill in DC within 20 minutes, but it's great to come back to all of the "War is not the Answer" posters in everyone's Read More
