Safe enough..but ooh so boring - 3/17/2015
Like the only other poster from 2008 Boxford is well positioned on the so-called "northshore" of eastern MA. Very commutable to Boston...but not too close to get dirty also 15 minutes to NBPT and the NH border. The town demographic is made up of some middle class but mostly upper middle & millionaire hedge fund income people. As a result there is no ethic diversity in Boxford. 98% white. 0-18 and 35-55. Thats it! Wealthy whitebread move here to raise there brood then most move up to NBPT after the kids are out of the nest...yawn. Boxford is very isolated especially during the winter as there are no sidewalks, street lights or town center other than a rundown building where there is a diner & post office. The town politicians and associated groups (BTA/BOLT) will stop at NOTHING in order to advance their agenda of preserving the 'rural character' of their beloved town. As a result there is no town library as it has been condemmed due to black mold and a variety of other problems. The Read More

boxford is the best - 5/18/2008
I love living in Boxford.Its considered elite and one of the best places to live in the Northshore-cape ann area. it is near cranes beach,manchester-by-the sea,newburyport and is about 30 minutes from Boston. anyone who can afford it should live here.its a small town but it is not vacant,very nice houses,no crime.2 acre lots,privacy,peacefulness and exclusiveness are just some of the perks of living Read More
