Cost of living Middleboro Massachusetts - 11/4/2010
Middleboro is not a great place to live if you are looking at cost of living. The town provides no services to it's citizens. In this terrible economy with almost 10% unemployment, an exceptional amount of foreclosures, and people trying very hard to make it week to week the town saw fit to raise the tax rate $1.22 per $1,000 for a rate of $13.05 per $1,000.00. In these extremely difficult times this only serves to hurt Middleboro residents. The Selectmen can't say no and continue to spend money like drunk sailors.
