Old New England town transformed - 6/22/2019
My hometown, came of age here in mid 1970's to early 1980's, population was around 2000+ back then, was a small farming town with dirt roads, and the old New England feel, was still fairly conservative and patriotic back then, you could ride dirt bikes and target practice in woods, was a wonderful place to grow up.
It has been transformed by liberals who bought houses built on the old farmlands that were sold off , and the feel now is very liberal, and not as small town.
Liberal yuppies from the cities have taken over, reflecting the NoHo mentality.
I left 15 years ago, and reminisce of the Southampton of my youth.
