The quintesential New England town. Having moved to New England from the mid-atlantic, the quainteness of towns like Sudbury and the level of control over development provides an excellent quality of life. You can live in a town like Sudbury, Wayland, Concord, etc. or similar towns just 20 miles from Boston and feel like you are living in the country.

The other side of the issue is that this strict control over development that keeps many New England areas quaint is also responsible for high housing costs.
