I have lived in Owosso, Michigan all my life. I love the four seasons. Snowmobiling in the winter and fishing and swimming in the summer. I love the giddy feeling I get in the spring panting my annuals and watching my perennials
come to life. It is a great place to Read More

Owosso Is Wonderful! - 6/23/2008
Owosso is the most wonderful city in the nation.

I have traveled the world, lived large cities all over the Midwest and South, and have lived in some of the most beautiful, high-energy and exclusive cities in the nation - including Santa Barbara, Seattle, Scottsdale, Boca Raton, Fort Worth, etc. However, although those places were wonderful for many reasons, Owosso is the best.

First of all, there is good energy here, which is evidenced by the fact that the city has probably produced more people who have made national impact than anywhere else in the nation. Furthermore, and possibly because of a combination of its size and the frequent contact between its citizens, there is a friendship and comraderie in Owosso that is unparalled, and newcomers with positive energy are welcomed with open arms.

Owosso is safe, the winters aren't as cold as they used to be, and from early spring to late fall Owosso is full of people walking, jogging and Read More

Owosso Has NOTHING... - 7/26/2007
I have lived in Owosso, MI all of my life, there is NOTHING Here. It has NOTHING for families, not even a nice park. The schools are definately lacking in many areas. The healthcare system is the worst around, not very friendly at all with sub-par and mostly mediocre doctors. The downtown has mostly closed stores and vacant buildings. It offers nothing as far as culture or for recreation. Friday night out with your family would lead you to Pizza Hut and Walmart. That is ALL Owosso has. The job market is negative! Many factories have closed leaving hundreds jobless. NO ONE can find a job. I can't think of ONE really good thing about Owosso, and I am sorry to feel that way! It is too close to Flint, which has a very high crime rate. I am looking to move from here as soon as possible....My recommendation would be to LOOK Read More
