I lived in GH for about 4 years. Wouldn't go back. Demographically GH is 0.2% black and 95-97% white, whereas Muskegon (a larger city about 15 mi north) is about 32% black. Very conservative and republican area. The (State) beach is nice but there are many drownings (no lifeguards) each year and beach erosion is a big issue. Not much real industry to speak of, so jobs are an issue for graduates. I think many ratings about the area are inflated (my opinion). Moving to the area I would rent before Read More
