I lived in Greenville, Michigan for about 6 years. It is a good place for people who work in Grand Rapids to live. There is very little work in Greenville, though. There is also very little to do for fun. It snows too much for my taste, but some people like that alot. There are much smaller towns in the county (Montcalm) that have a lot of stateland and it's near a lot of lakes. Montcalm County does have a very high teenage pregnancy rate and the cost of living is too high in relation to the lack of employment opportunities. There was one refridgerator factory in the middle of the town where everyone knew at least one person working there, or worked there themselves. People from several nearby towns worked there. It was called Gibsons a LONG time ago. Then it was called Frigidaire for a long time. Then it was called Electrolux, but many people still call it Gibsons. Electrolux picked up and moved to Mexico last year and left something like 30,000 people jobless. Needless to say, the
