OK, But Kind of Mediocre - 7/5/2021
Used to live here. It's OK, but nothing special. Pretty much a bedroom community that is very safe, quaint, overpriced, middle-class, and...boring. Restaurants are overpriced for what they are, everything in town is almost always a drive, there is pretty much zero diversity (race, class, ethnicity), and virtually no decent nightlife. Basically, what too many Americans imagined as "good" 50 years ago.

Positive points: there are a good number of trees, schools are good, it's halfway between Detroit and Ann Arbor, it offers Hines Park access, and the town is pretty clean/has very little trash (well, for metro-Detroit) on the Read More

New Morning School K-8 - 3/7/2018
This school is a game changer. I have watched our 5 children (mine, plus nieces/nephews) absolutely thrive. They LOVE going to school, and watching not only their knowledge, but their confidence grow has been wonderful.

The Real Hill Valley from Back to the Future - 4/8/2007
Plymouth is just like Hill Valley, without the mountains in the background, from the movie Back to the Future. It is the epitome of small town USA. Almost something straight out of the mind of Walt Disney himself. If you are married and have young children, you will not find a better place to live and raise a family. In addition, in recent years, the bar and restaurant scene has expanded and the best part about it is that there are no chain restaurants in the small but quaint downtown area. All in all, this is one fabulous place to live if you can tolerate the cloudy and gray winters which last from early November to early Read More
