Beautiful area to live - 12/21/2007
Roscommon is a very beautiful area to live. If you are an outdoors sport lover you will find lots of things to do. Higgins Lake is located in Roscommon and is wonderful for swimming, fishing, boating or just sunning yourself on the sandy shores. The lake is spring fed, it is very clean allowing you to see your toes on the sandy bottom of the lake when you enter the shallow waters. Higgins Lake offers two state parks for camping or a day at the public beach. In the winter months the air is fresh and crisp making a walk in the snow very enjoyable.
