Cute Downtown but I hate living here its bad - 4/26/2021
The school system is horrible. To big on school of choice the schools are too full and the classrooms are not controlled its complete chaos that Wyandotte residents send there kids to other school districts. A lot of rental houses and landlords don't care who they rent to as long as they get there money. When you can't open your windows because your neighbors are constantly getting high and you have a kid with asthma and have to constantly worry about traffic coming and going out of the rentals around you its horrible. Just not enough room in our schools! The city has closed two schools and has placed the children from them in the remaining schools! that where already full! The staff at most of the schools act like they are in high school and if your not the "in parent" then you are not asked to help out with your childs class and are just given the cold shoulder! Great Place to Live - 9/9/2009
Wyandotte is the kind of town that has kept the small town feel by keeping Wal-Mart and other big box stores out of the city. Wyandotte also has one of the best school systems I know of. The teachers here really care. If you are raising a family this is the place for you. Low crime. A few broken into cars every once and a while. It is a metro area on the outside of Detroit.
