Me and my wife have lived in marble for 3 years now. The people are very friendly, and have no major crimes that take place. I would highly recommend only staying in marble during the fall and winter months however. In spring and summer the City Council looks for any reason to hand out blight tickets. I even got a warning about my tabs that were still good for another month.. the people are nice but the City Council is greedy, crooked, and the mayor does not approve of homosexual tenants, even going so far as to make inappropriate remarks about the homosexual citizen on facebook. In a professional sense she told him we don't need your kind here. Great place to stop or visit but I would never recommend living here. We are stuck with a mortgage otherwise we would have moved months ago. Hope this gives anyone the info they need so they don't get blindsided like we did. Best of luck! Stay safe out
