Living in Taylors Falls - 3/31/2009
Taylors Falls,Mn is truly living the dream. With the 100 ft cliffs and amazing parks, the St. Croix river running through it,and numerous outdoor activities,there is no need to be bored. The scenery alone is worth living here. The housing is reasonable,and the people warm and friendly. There is a lot to do in the surrounding towns,and no real need to drive else where to see everyday beauty and wildlife. I will say it is quite cold in the winter and I am a native Minnesotan. But it is cold everywhere in Minnesota. This is more of a bedroom community,so plan on driving to a while to work. It will take you an hour to get to the twin cities. However it takes almost that long living in the suburbs sometimes. For our family it is worth it. We have a beautiful home on 5 acres,with no neighbors that are to close. Crime is low and the sheriff's live in the community. The kids that live here are good kids with families involved with their children. It is a great family community also. I just
