My Home Town - 12/7/2008
My home town,population 176,86% African American 11% white As you can see we are a very small town.
We are the only city that have a Delmo Community Centers standing, out of 10 Community Centers. The others were:Grayridge Group(later called Circle City),Stoddard County, North Wyatt Group(later Wilson City),Miss.County(African American),East Prairie Group,Miss. county, Morehouse Group,New Madrid County, North Lilbound Group, New Madrid County(African American). South Lilbound Group,New Madrid County,Kennett Group,Dunklin County, Goble Group, Dunklin County, North Wardell,Pemiscot County, South Wardell,(later called Homestown) Pemiscot County.
The Towns were builded in 1940. People start to move in the houses in 1941.
