Effingham is a boring place and there isn't much to do!!! if you like to snowboard and ski then this is the place to go, but if you don't enjoy 20 feet of snow then this isnt the place to go!! You will more than likely loose a lot of weight considering there are no stores so you will have to plan a whole day for shopping. Small town politics, no one wants any improvments! The highschool is crowded and kids are working out in the hallways. The average school bus ride from here is an hour and half to the middle school and highschool. I am movin' the (****) out of here!!!
