I was born and raised near Flemington. I love the countryside, the weather, the people, and the jobs. But it has become prohibitively expensive to live here. Houses have replaced most corn fields, bringing us from an agricultural community, to a crowded one. More houses means more kids means huge increases in property taxes. Flemington (Raritan Twsp) is a very nice place to live and send you kids to school. besides what everybody else's opinion of NJ being an exit off the NJ Turnpike. The Fleimington area is a rural, bucolic area going through a real estate growth boom over the last 15-20 years. Many major Corp especially Parmacueticals are nearby as well as Princeton University.
