difficult township - 1/8/2016
While Piscataway does boast many nice aspects, the people that work for the township are not one of them. They have no interest in working with the residents of Piscataway. They have their own agenda and have no problem railroading their citizens and have no problem being rude about Read More

OK town to live - 1/8/2016
Piscataway is an OK town to live in. The schools are above average, and the majority of people are friendly. It is centrally located near major highways, and getting around is easy.

Cost of living is high between housing costs and the high taxes.Read More

Small Town Feel...Good Community - 12/30/2009

Piscataway, New Jersey - 12/6/2007
We've lived here for eight years. A wonderful diversity of people, businesses, and cultures. Great restaurants, health professionals, and services. Also a very concentrated place. Many large pharmaceutical and financial corporations are tucked away on corporate campuses. Good schools, churches, and community services. High property taxes and cost of living that must be a trade off against the educational, professional, and cultural experiences that enrich it's residents. When the time comes to desire a slower pace and fewer souls per square miles, one can look to locations only 3 or 4 hours away. This has been one of the most challenging, humbling, and enriching places I've ever worked or lived. If you long to be "in the thick of it", the viscosity of Piscataway will engage all you've Read More

Quality of Life - 7/16/2007
New Jersey is not the place for anyone who can't make a salary of $100,000 a year. The taxes are outrageous. The cost of everything has become absurd, laughable really. There's no such thing as "open space." Every possible piece of property that hasn't yet been built on will be dug up for housing or more business buildings that eventually will stand empty. This is not a town for retirees. The medical profession treats the elderly like they are lab rats. And as for those under retirement age, the medical profession treats you like you make $100K a Read More
