Life in Hatch - 4/27/2007
When people think of New Mexico they think of a desert. Not Hatch. It is really green. It is the chile capital of the world. Not much happens here. Crime islow and everything. There used to be about 1,500 people, but since a major flood hit Hatch on August 15, 2006, the population is even smaller than what it was. The only big attraction here is the Chile Festival.
