Hobbs, New Mexico is known for its peaceful atmosphere and rugged desert scenery. It is a small town full of welcoming people, making it a great place for a getaway or to settle down. There are plenty of activities to do in Hobbs including golfing, fishing, hiking, and camping. The city also has some excellent restaurants and shopping options that have received glowing reviews from visitors. The local attractions such as the Western Heritage Museum and the Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame provide insight into the history and culture of this amazing place. Residents also enjoy the abundance of natural beauty that can be found in the surrounding area with many opportunities to explore wildlife areas and parks. All in all, Hobbs is a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends while experiencing all that this lovely city has to offer.

Hobbs, New Mexico is a growing city on the eastern edge of the New Mexico- texas border. The people are friendly and hard working. The school system is in the top tier of the state's new accountability system. Team sports are big here and the basketball team is always highly ranked and has many state championships. The economy is diversified although oil is the primary industry. The location of Hobbs puts it close to great health care in Texas and beautiful scenery in the mountains of SE New Mexico. Hobbs is the worst place in the U.S. to live. People that live here are snobs and they aren't helpful at all. Forget about getting a job here. If they don't like you, they won't hire you!
