Very calm - 6/28/2013
We're about a good 15-20 minute drive from the bigger town of Watertown where you can find alright entertainment, mall, movie theater etc. The only real what you can call city closest to us is Syracuse, which is about an hour and 20 minutes away from Carthage. In Carthage theres Price Chopper which is where you can get your groceries (lots of choices!)theres Stewart's (a gas station franchise around here, they make pretty good ice cream), let's not forget Nice n' easy (another gas station, makes good pizza and really good angus burgers)and then a couple other gas stations. There's a bridge that connects Carthage with West Carthage where you can get a pleasant view of the river (which is pretty wide!). If you like fishing you can fish there, but it's not exactly that active. Lots of teenagers around here smoke weed (marijuana), not surprising of course but more then what you'd expect.
