Decent town - 9/1/2012
Been here for 2 years; and it's a decent place; provided your in the right neighborhood.
The con's:
The airport is right on the border; so planes fly over parts. Train runs through the south part of town. And there's three highways in this little town.
Schools aren't great, compared to rest of the area schools
Pro's:
The Erie canal also runs through town (it's great to walk/bike along).
Ton of business's; from Walmart to excellent local Italian restaurants (Papa Joe's, Valicia's and Agatina's).
Good/decent government.
Decent schools; and gates residents can use the local high school fitness center and pool for free. (The pool is huge; bigger than the YMCA pool).
