A hidden gem - 1/3/2018
Malone is rural yet it has all the amenities that you need to live comfortably. It gets very cold in the winter. I have seen it dip to -30. The roads are well maintained so you can easily travel in the winter conditions. The summer is warm and reaches mid 80's. There is an abundance of wildlife, fish in the streams, and beautiful countryside. You will see Amish wagons frequently and have many Amish road side farms to purchase fresh veggies from. There is a lot to see, and a lot to do. Ski slopes are fun in the winter, ice fishing, as well as snow machines and 4 wheeling. Summer fun is hiking, camping, star gazing, swimming, and lots of outdoor adventures await. I like that it is rural. The community is welcoming and friendly and have strong family values. Read More
