Summer Events and Activities - 7/20/2010
North Tonawanda boarders the Erie Canal and Niagara River and provides a great opportunity to enjoy water sports such as boating jet skiing, water skiing, tubing (going down the banks of the Niagara River in a large inner tube.) You can rent paddle boats and water bicycles and peddle your way down the Erie Canal. Excellent fishing. Muskie fishing in Niagara River recognized world wide and have hosted many pro angling tournaments.
Free summer concerts along the cancel every Monday and Wednesday offer a variety of music. While being entertained you can enjoy food and beverages provided by local vendors and organizations at a reasonable cost.
The third week of July is the Canal Feast, a week long celebration shared by North Tonawanda and Tonawanda (city across the canal).
