BREAK-INS AND THEFT IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS - 5/17/2010
MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO LEAVE THERE HOMES BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF BREAK-INS. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY OR AT NIGHT PEOPLE'S HOMES ARE BEING BROKEN INTO AND THEY ARE BEING ROB. IT IS A COMBINATION OF THE ILLEGALS THAT HAVE MOVED INTO OUR AREA AND BECAUSE OF THE HEAVY DRUG PROLBEMS IN OUR TOWN. JUST LAST YEAR MY SON'S BOAT WAS STOLEN FROM MY DRIVEWAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. THEY LEFT THE BOAT AT SOME INDUSTRIAL PARK IN A NEARBY TOWN AND JUST STOLE THE MOTOR FROM THE BOAT. PEOPLE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE AFRAID AND LIVE IN FEAR ALL THE TIME. OF ALL PLACES YOU SHOULD FEEL SAFE IN YOUR OWN HOME AND PEOPLE CAN'T EVEN DO THAT ANYMORE. WE PAY HIGH ENOUGH TAXES IN THIS TOWN AND SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT IT.
