vacant housing % - 12/19/2011
While your % of vacant houses may be correct, I would like to know to % of vacant apartments. I own a number of properties in watervliet, and know alot of other landlords. Most have at least 1 vacant apartment the city will not let them rent. I have 2. These apartments just sit vacant not do to anything other than the city refuses to give building permits to rehab them. Many were grandfathered in but went empty during forclosure process for to long and lost there grandfather status. I would also like to see your percent of people living in watervliet receiving some sort of assistance to live. It appears over the past 5or6 years watevliet has been trying to draw these people to its city. Not sure why. Looking forward to furture letters from you.
