I have lived in Dallas, NC for about a year and I love it. This small town offers everything I want to have were I live. Within walking distance of my home there is a grocery store, two drug stores, an ice cream parlor, several restaurants, movie rentals, general stores, tanning beds, a gym, and nail shop. Within five minutes from my home there are more restaurants, a park, a community center, a college, the police department, the fire department and I-85. The only thing Dallas does have is a movie theater and a bowling ally. Wal-Mart is just close enough for convenience but far enough to avoid the traffic problems. And the crime rate is low to boot.
