Hope Mills, NC is more of a small town feel, with everything in a short driving distance. It is close to the Fayetteville area (military town). The people are more to themselves, not all so friendly all the time. One day the neighbors will speak and the next day they act as if you're a complete stranger. Probably one of the best things about the area is the weather. There is a definite change of seasons, although it is sometimes sporadic and fluctuating. Nevertheless, we have lived in places that are a LOT hotter and more humid than here. Housing is reasonable and there's plenty of golfing if that's what you like. High School football is big here. One big thing about North Carolina, though, is the taxes! It's Read More
