Small community, inexpensive housing - 5/15/2006
Moravian Falls, NC is a small community in NW North Carolina in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Housing is inexpensive, but beginning to creep up in price. In some respects the community is family oriented, yet is growing in the direction of retirement and vacation homes. The center of town is "don't blink or might miss it". Employment locally is scarce at a survivable wage - that being greater than $60,000 per annum. Commute time to Winston-Salem is approximately one hour
