Living in the country - 8/4/2011
I like the small town feel. It's like living in the country, but just a few miles and your in the heart of Fayetteville. Plenty of restaurants, people must not do a whole lot of cooking here. Small town America in the 50's - 2/3/2008
Last year I was relocated from Texas to Ft. Bragg. On the way there, we drove through Raeford and Immediatly knew, that was where I wanted to live. I made a special point to find a house there. Downtown reminds me of towns from the 50's with one main street down the center and small shops and businesses that line each side of main street. The people are friendly and I haven't had any problems with crime of any sort personally. There are no movie theaters or anything for entertainment except for a few pubs but Fayetteville which has just about every kind of shopping, restaurants and entertainment is only a short 15 minute Read More
