Bellevue, Ohio is a small city located in the northwestern part of the state. It has a population of 7,500 people and is known for its quaint historic downtown area as well as its many parks. There are several popular attractions in Bellevue such as The Rieger Museum of Art, The Kelleys Island State Park, and The Baseball Heritage Museum. Many people also enjoy visiting the local farmers' markets to pick up fresh produce or other items from local merchants. Reviews for Bellevue are generally quite positive with locals raving about the friendly atmosphere of the town and its beauty. People often talk about how safe they feel when walking around downtown or visiting one of the parks, making it an ideal place to take a stroll or go on a picnic. After reading the negatives about Bellevue I thought you better hear some good things. For a community of its size Bellevue is way ahead of the game, even with the negatives that you have sited on your web page. Our community just passed a school levy that enables us to qualify for state aide to build a new elementary and middle school. The community continually helps the needy with a clothing closet and a food pantry. Bellevue has a United Selective Fund that helps organizations in the community. We have a state of the art community theater, which hosts a children's, teen and young adult productions along with music lessons from an area college. Our recreation department has activities for all ages from pre-school to senior citizens. Our library is part of the Clevnet system and promotes many activities for all ages in the community. We have a very active Kiwanis, Rotary, and Lions clubs. Our ministerial group is very active and helps the needy in the community. Our Downtown Read More
